Let check his resume...Churchill not an Indian

Seems like falsifying a resume is more than enough reason to fire a guy. Especially if his ethnicity more than likely played an intrical role in much of his career advancement.

"Is he an Indian? Do we really care?" he said, quoting those he called his
"white Republican" critics.
"Let's cut to the chase; I am not," he said.
His pedigree is "not important," Churchill said: "The issue is the substance
of what is said."

Well, if he used being Native American to continue to move up the university food chain, then yes it is an issue.
